Radiological monitoring Grotto Gigante (Trieste , Italy)

In September-October 2013 Igor Kachalin (engineer RPE "AKP"), as member of an international research group of the Seventh Framework Programme FP7 EU, 2007-2013 gg. visited one of the largest caves in the world - the Grotto Gigante (Trieste , Italy).
The aim of the research team was also monitoring of gamma isotopes and radon progeny to ensure the safety of tourists and staff in the cave.
Integrated study included gamma dose rate measuring and gamma spectrometric monitoring and measuring of the concentration of radon in the path of tourist groups .
For research was used portable recorder spectra PRS- 01.
